The summer transfer window may have come to an end but it has not stopped clubs from making their plans ahead of the winter transfer window in January. While a lot of clubs got their prime targets this summer and are currently not planning to involve in any business whatsoever (except for possible departures) in January, others have continued to keep close tabs on the possible players that they are willing to sign come the January winter transfer window. After an interesting transfer window that saw them lose their star player Jack Grealish and sign a couple of new faces, they want more.

According to reports from the Daily Sun, the Villans are keeping very close tabs on Juventus youngster Weston McKennie and are keen on signing the young attacker in January. Villa submitted an offer for the player to Juventus but the Italian Serie A giants rebuffed the opening bid as they insisted that the player was a very important part of manager Masimiliano Allegri’s squad for the season. Scottish Premiership giants Celtic have confirmed that they have completed the signing of former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart from Tottenham Hotspur. Hart joined Spurs under Jose Mourinho some months ago and was signed as a backup goalkeeper to Hugo but was not able to prove himself as a befitting candidate at the club. He joined the London club after being released by Burnley at the end of the 2019-20 Premier League season and was out of a job until he was offered one at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Mourinho revealed after his unveiling that Hart is a professional and his wealth of experience is a major reason why they agreed to sign him.

Hart trained with the first team on several occasions but was unable to displace Lloris as the club’s number one goalie so after Mourinho’s departure, it was only normal for Spurs to allow him to leave the club. After selling him to Celtic, the new Tottenham manager asked the club to open talks with Italian Serie A side Atalanta their goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini as they looked to replace him with someone seemingly better than the former England international shot-stopper.

Sancho and Haaland formed a deadly attack partnership at Dortmund and they were a threat to opposition defenders last season. They convinced for a couple of goals and it is only normal that Haaland will have to miss his best assists supplier of last season. Following the transfer of the England international forward to Old Trafford, Haaland revealed that he is sad to see his friend leave and that he would miss the former Manchester City youth player, but also admitted that it’s one of those things that happen in football.

Liverpool midfielder Georgio Wijnaldum will be leaving the club at the end of the season, according to the words from the mouth of the player’s agent. The midfielder has decided that it is time to leave the Anfield club after talks between him and the Merseyside giants broke down and they were unable to establish an agreement over the signing of a new contract.

Arsenal Defender Linked With Move Away From The Club

CBS Sports is reporting that Arsenal Defender Hector Bellerin is not interested in penning a new contract at the club and wants a move away. The right-back has reportedly made his intentions clear to the Arsenal board that he is willing to depart the Emirates Stadium once the 2020-21 season comes to an end and the summer transfer window opens for business.

Bellerin has done well to impress at Arsenal since starting his career from the club’s youth setup and has played in as many as 231 games for the Gunners. Although he has had to battle with several niggling injuries in the past few years, he has always done well to show his quality when he returns from those injuries.

This current season, the defender has played a total of 27 matches across all competitions for the Gunners but has not been that consistent and has also divided fans’ opinions already. And that’s probably why he is now being linked with a move away from the club; to finally break free from the criticism that surrounds him, according to a source from his camp.
