Ivan Perisic has handed in a transfer request to the authorities at Inter Milan, after they rejecteda loan offer for him, from Arsenal football club. Inter director Giuseppe Marotta confirmed that the player has indeed handed in a transfer request, and that they would look into it only if they receive a concrete offer, as they place high value on the Croatian winger. Reports emanating from the Italian mediahas it that Arsenal proposed a loan deal for Perisic, with an option to buy for £34 million, but Inter Milan are holding out for a permanent move for the player, who by next month will be 30 years old.
Perisichad been linked with a move away from Inter in the past few transfer windows to Manchester United, because he was a player in which former United Manger Jose Mourinho was interested in, but they are not being linked to him this window under new boss Ole Gunner Solksjaer. Inter Milan manager Luciano Spallettisaid Perisic is a player talked about by everyone, because they value him as much as the club does, and that anyone club that wants him will need to pay very high for him.
